Description: This session provides an overview of recent changes to the Miner Act, the S-Miner Bill and other MSHA regulations. It will present case studies of recent MSHA inspection/citation contestations as learning points as well as key points on how to minimize the potential of receiving unnecessary citations. Attendees will be exposed to several potential approaches that can reduce the likelihood of citations.
