Description: This session is intended to provide attendees the basics in the fire protection area including the common hazards encountered in the workplace and the typical measures that must be taken to protect a facility or site from fire. Included in the session will be information concerning basic fire extinguishing equipment and use as well as other technical areas such as sprinkler systems. Basic fire chemistry will be included.
