Description: The key feature of Safety Management Systems (ANSI Z-10, OHSAS 18001, ILO 2001, etc.) is the establishment of operational accountability for management; however, developing and implementing an accountability system is easier said than done. This session stresses the importance of identifying and establishing proactive initiatives, which are consistent with other business metrics and are tied to the annual performance review process for manufacturing management and supervisors.
