Description: This session will provide a comprehensive historical examination of exposure, health effects, and PPE related to silica over the last century. It will also cover other sources of occupational exposure (e.g., mining, abrasive blasting operations, hydraulic fracturing), recent control technologies and provide an update on OSHA's silica rulemaking process.
